Make Up Monday
My salon Rockit Hair Studio (by mine I mean the one I go to) owned and operated by my very own hair goddess, Scarlett Red, is having an amazing raffle!
You may remember them from Weekend Round Up
Here’s the awesome basket they’re raffling off
Tickets are only a dollar! yes $1! Davines products are expensive, but worth every penny, so a dollar for a ticket is amazing!
So, stop by the salon in Nob Hill and get your ticket before it’s over! And if you go in then you’ll know where it is when all the exciting events happen next month!
I recently learned how to use blush and bronzer to contour and I’m in love. It’s become one of those things I can’t live without. I even bought myself a new blush brush this weekend. (At Target, $4.00, it’s great) So, click on the picture above to read an article Refinery29 just published about blushes and bronzers.
I usually use this set from ELF cosmetics. (Click on the pic to buy yourself one!) I use one of the top two bronzers and usually the blushes on the left hand side. If it’s night time or depending on what I’m wearing I may wear a blush on the right side.
What are your favorite bronzers, blushes and brushes?
Ok. This weekend was busy, busy, busy. Hi Tona’s goddess of a stylist, Scarlett Red (who owns Rockit Hair Studio), flew out to Vegas for the International Beauty Festival.
Yes, IBS, we all got the gross reference. Orbit Salon had a beauty even and fundraiser. It was Albuquerque Comic Expo and KarateExplosion’s birthday. So, here is our photo dump from the weekend
I got these wedges at Target for $8.00. They’re super comfy but a little unstable. (I rolled my ankle)
Little brother @DanicinMHJ, rocking the Teal, corduroy shorts.
The Ladies of Rockit Hair Studio and models from the IBS.
This is Liz, she was one of the models at Orbit Hair Salon on Saturday. Shannon Vigil, the owner, styled Liz’s hair.
This is Cory and his awesome pants.
And this is Keila and her awesome hair. Cory styled Keila’s hair for the event on Saturday.
Make up artist Lauren Atkinson.
This is Constance, she was Laura’s make up model. I love her blush!
This is Shannon Vigil, the owner of Orbit Salon. She also styled Liz’s hair.
The new shirt I picked up with the wedges. Another $8 buy!
So excited! We also got to see Stan Lee!
People really commit at these things. I can only imagine it’s hot as hell under that costume and this heat.
And this was what we came home to at the end of Saturday.
It was also KarateExplosion’s 3rd Birthday!!
My day job is keeping me from blog! I have some pics to post from the weekend and I’m going to start doing a make-up Monday post. Stay tuned and hopefully it will all be up this evening!
